Dallas Cowboys Lose Divisional Battle to Los Angeles Rams
Cowboys Fall 30-22 in NFC Divisional Game
Cowboys Unable to Overcome Rams' Rushing Attack
The Dallas Cowboys' season came to an end on Saturday, January 12th, 2019, with a 30-22 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Game. Despite a valiant effort from the Cowboys, the Rams' powerful rushing attack proved to be too much to handle.
Leading the way for the Rams was running back Todd Gurley, who rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp also made a significant contribution, hauling in eight catches for 118 yards and a touchdown. On defense, the Rams were led by cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who intercepted a pass from Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and returned it for a touchdown.
The Cowboys were unable to keep pace with the Rams on the ground. Running back Ezekiel Elliott was held to just 48 yards on 12 carries, while Prescott was sacked four times. Despite their struggles on offense, the Cowboys' defense played well, forcing three turnovers. However, it was not enough to overcome the Rams' explosive offense.
With the win, the Rams advance to the NFC Championship Game, where they will face the New Orleans Saints. The Cowboys' season ends with a disappointing loss, but they can take pride in their successful campaign, which included a 10-6 regular season record and a Wild Card victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
