Aaron Jones Placed on IR, to Miss at Least Three Games
Packers' RB Room Takes a Hit
The Green Bay Packers have placed running back Aaron Jones on injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least the next three games.
Jones suffered a sprained MCL in the Packers' Week 1 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The injury is not expected to be season-ending, but it will keep him out of action for a significant amount of time.
Who is the Starting RB?
With Jones out, the Packers will likely turn to AJ Dillon as their starting running back. Dillon had a solid performance in Week 1, rushing for 69 yards on 18 carries.
Dillon is a physical runner who is known for his power and toughness. He is also a capable receiver out of the backfield.
